A24
INDIE FILM PRODUCTION ID
I was given the exciting challenge of crafting a captivating identity for an Indie Film Production Studio—one that not only embodies its unique spirit but also tells a story in a visually striking and memorable way.
The goal is to distill the studio's attitude into a compelling brand narrative that resonates with audiences and filmmakers alike, celebrating the raw creativity and bold vision that defines independent cinema.

The A24 logo is more than just a signature; it’s a versatile symbol that encapsulates the brand’s commitment to innovative storytelling and artistic integrity. With a diverse array of idents that vary from minimalist to visually striking, each iteration reflects the unique tone and ethos of the films A24 produces.
This intentional variety not only sets the stage for the distinct narratives that follow but also reinforces A24's identity as a bold and boundary-pushing studio in the film industry, inviting audiences to expect the unexpected with each new release.
PRODUCTION
& explorations
01 - THE SOAP
For this scene I really wanted to experiment with adding personal touches into the scene, things like home pictures and the idea of a lived in fridge was really what I was going for.
03 - THE BOARD
The 2D animation for the logo reveal on the hung up piece of paper was made using a color splitter node to extract the alpha channel from the animation done prior in AE and imputing it into the opacity.
This was the trickiest of the three renderings, after modeling texturing and lighting everything in C4D, I still felt like this environment was feeling dull.
So after some animation revisions, having the soap slide on the floor instead of floating in space, I then brought it in Nuke for a lot of post.
02 - THE FRIDGE
POST PRODUCTION
the audio
Creating the audio bed and SFX was a crucial part in bringing this piece together, I wanted to make sure each scene had nods to the different environments while still having everything feel cohesive.
Nuke played a fundamental part in the post production process of the piece, using material cryptomattes to extract and grade each object to get the right look.
Additionally I drew out a smear to emulate the look of the soap residue that is left on the bathroom floor in the soap scene.
